1. How do I Sign-Up?
To sign-up for a free ValSecrets.com account please visit http://www.valsecrets.com/signup and fill out the appropriate information.

2. How do I become a Neighbor?
To become a neighbor please visit http://www.valsecrets.com/neighbor and fill out the application.  You must first have a free account in order to submit your application.

3. How do I share a secret?
You must be a neighbor to share secrets on ValSecrets.com.  To begin sharing a secret you can click the “Share Secret” button above your friend circle, or you can click “Share” link in your profile menu located by moving your mouse over your name in the upper right hand corner.

4. How do I edit a secret, picture or video?
To edit one of your secrets, pictures or videos please visit the location of the item you are trying to edit and then click the “Edit” button at the top of the page.

5. How do I remove a secret, picture or video?
To delete one of your secrets, pictures or videos please visit the location of the item you are trying to delete and then click the “Delete” button at the top of the page.

6. How do I add bff's to my circle?
To add someone to your circle visit their profile page and click “Send BFF Request”.  The user will then receive the request and choose to Accept or Deny.  Once the user has accepted your BFF Request you will then see their photo in your circle.

7. How do I remove bff's from my circle
To remove someone from your cicle click the “X” button located to the right of their Username on your friend circle.

8. How do I post a question?
To ask the ValSecrets.com community a question please visit http://www.valsecrets.com/questions and click the “Ask Question” at the bottom of the page.  You must be a free member in order to post a question.

9. How do I sign-in?
To sign-in to your account please visit http://www.valsecrets.com/login and type in your email and password.  You will then be redirected to your dashboard.

10. What is my dashboard?
Your dashboard is similar to a control panel  on other sites.  This is your entry point into ValSecrets.  From here you can manage your account, share secrets and send messages.  To visit your dashboard please sign-in to your account.

11. How do I retrieve/reset my password?
If you cannot located your password please visit our sign-in page at http://www.valsecrets.com/login and click the “Forgot Password” link.  Once you type in your email and click “Reset Password” an email will be sent to your inbox with a confirmation link. You must click this link before your password can be reset.  Once you click that link and type in your email once more we will reset your password and send you a new email containing your new password.

12. How do I find/delete my comments?
To locate or delete comments you have posted please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Comments” link.  From there you view and delete both comments posted on your profile as well as any comments you have posted.

13. How do I check my messages?
Communication is important on ValSecrets.com.  To send or check your messages please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.  Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Inbox” link. 

14. How do I change my profile picture?
To change your profile picture please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Profile Picture” link.  Browse for your picture and click save.  Once the picture has uploaded you will see your new picture in the top left hand corner on your profile bar.

15. How do I change my name?
To change your name please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Identity” link.  From there you can  update your name and bio.

16. How do I change my email address?
To change your email please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Email” link.  Type in your new email and confirm it by typing it once more in the confirm box and click save.

17. How do I change my password?
To change your password please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Password” link.  Type in your new password and confirm it by typing it once more into the confirm box and click save.

18. How do I change my location?
To change your location please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Location” link.  If you live in the United States please type in your postal code.  If not please just choose your country.

19. How do I cancel my account?
To cancel your account please sign-in and visit your dashboard located at http://www.valsecrets.com/dashboard.   Once there locate your dashboard and click the “Settings” link.  Once you are at the settings page click the “Delete Account” link and then the delete button. 

20. How do I report abuse?
To report abuse on a particular item click the report abuse icon with an explanation point located under the picture, video or secret, just to the right of the “Share This Secret” button.
