This year I have decided to join the American Cancer Society DetermiNation endurance event program, and I am committed to crossing two finish lines instead of just one – will you join me?
Together we can participate as part of the DetermiNation endurance event program – the nation of athletes determined to end cancer. This means that all of the months, miles, and hard work we put into training for this race will be for something greater than our personal victory – it will directly help people with cancer in our community and everywhere. I am dedicating my race to helping save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays and hope you’ll join my team and commit to training and fundraising with me.
I know that there are a lot of great causes out there, but the DetermiNation program speaks to me because funds raised enable the American Cancer Society to save lives by helping people stay well and get well from cancer, by finding cures, and fighting back today. More people in our community can stay well by getting the information and tools they need to help prevent cancer or find it early.
More people with cancer will have a place to turn around the clock to help them through every step of their cancer journey – whether it’s a free ride to treatment, a place to stay, or just talking to someone who has “been there.”
More of us have will have access to lifesaving cancer screenings and treatments we need.
Each of us has our own reasons for caring about the fight against cancer. Whatever your reasons, I hope you’ll choose to make a difference by joining my team. I’m so grateful to have great people like you in my life who care about cancer! Together truly making a difference by helping to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays!
