Hey guys, So I just started getting into yoga. I have been reading about it etc. Apparently it calms the mind, body, being etc. So far I have just been using it to meditate. I'm wondering what exactly people experience with yoga. Please write your own secrets about it, and message me on my profile. Thank you for sharing!

What I love about yoga is that it helps me get a really good stretch and I can even feel it strengthening my spine and core. I enjoy it.

I started doing yoga about four years ago after years of step aerobics and circuit training, and running. I was skeptical about what it would do for me, but after only about 1 week of Flow yoga, I was noticing results all over. First and foremost, in my hips. They actually felt youthful again! I had also started to gain flexibility again in my spine, I was noticing it when I would get in and out of my car and twist in my seat to see behind me. Then, there was the challenge of the balance and strength of the poses. The poses have so many benefits for our internal organs. The "twists" and "binds" wring the organs out and detoxify them also. This helps with digestion. As for the meditation, the yoga I do concentrates on the breath, strength, and balance; but the whole experience is meditation for me. I love that there is no competition in yoga, I love the feeling of peace and quiet and the personal challenge of my personal practice. Sometimes I am spot on and sometimes there ar

Yoga has many benefits. Yoga relaxes your mind and tones the body. I took a few yoga classes about a year ago and I was so relaxed and toned at that time. Yoga also improves your breathing which in turn improves your immune system. I also heard that yoga helps to slow down aging.
