I believe that life is all connected like a linked chain of people and events. In between these people and events are dreams and situations that are manifested by your thoughts, energy and focus.
The book 'THE SECRET' believes, what you focus on creates your present and manifestation. Some may say, how is that possible? When positive, we focus on dreams and aspirations. Not everyone has the confidence to pursue their dreams and sometimes when they actually come true we might destroy it because of it all seeming to good to be true.
I've always wanted to meet Oprah, because I feel close to her due to the fact that I believe in her mission of living your best life, making dreams come true, and helping others. She has been the only celebrity that I was ever impressed with and desired to meet . I feel connected to her and want to be her disciple to her mission sort of speak. I always wished that she can be part of my linked chain of life. We both believe in 'The Secret'.
Let me show you a quick example of 'The Secret'
February 27, 2008, The url and name ValSecrets was established. I sent an email to my parents and siblings telling them the mission of the kind of website I wanted to create, but I just needed a name.

Looking back I am amazed how quickly the name ValSecrets felt right to me. The next step was to choose logo. I had to choose the Style and Colors.
On 3/5/08 I created the ValSecrets logo. ValSecrets logo determined the color scheme of the website and the brand. I choose purple because it's not my favorite color, but because it's regal and more mature and sophisticated than the color pink. Now, people think of ValSecrets when they see the color purple. Coincidently, I find out that my idol Oprah feels connected to the color purple.
On 10/28/09, I was a nervous wreck because I was to shoot a pilot for a reality show that I wasn't sure if this was the right kind of reality show for ValSecrets. I was worried about a lot of different things and issues. That evening I went out to dinner with my family and I was quiet and nervous. I had the decision on the brain. When I got home my dog was hiding from me, which was unsual. I soon find out that she had torn apart a purple feather scarf I had bought for Halloween. The purple feathers were everywhere. You would think I'd be frustrated with her and annoyed, but I wasn't angry at all, in fact I was elated with joy and laughing with delight.
I knew everything was going to be fine when I saw all the purple feathers. The purple feathers were a sign to me that everything was going to be alright and I am heading in the right path. My desires were clear again and I flew out to Alabama to shoot a pilot for my future reality show.
The reality show is produced and in the process of being sold by the BBC and I am in the hopes that this will bring me closer to Oprah.
My ValSecret is;
*You need to remain focused and clear on what you want. It can't be vague or lack confidence. It should be so clear that you can actually see it happening or in front of you. We all doubt ourselves and even our dreams but when signs come arrive and you feel enlightened you know to push forward. Even someone like Oprah pays close attention.
