Ladies Ladies Ladies...If you have guy friends or are hanging out with your man's friends you don't need to drink everything the big boys drink. I've found myself trying to keep up many times and I hated myself in the morning. So I came up with a method.

Here is my Val Secret - water, food and set a pace. You've probably heard it before but it works. Drink water in between drinks, eat carbs and drink slowly. Try to avoid shots and if you can't - try to skip a couple or a few. Besides taking your time and staying hydrated and main secret to this Val Secret is eating. Many women try to be lady-like by not eating but really drinking like a fish isn't classy either so you might as well eat up. The guys do. Oh yeah. They don't hit the bars without preparing. Most of them actually CARB up before heading out. Think about it. When you are out what are the guys eating? When you have the guys over for the game or are at a party with the boys - what are they eating? Carbs.

Granted guys can hang harder than girls but they can also teach us a thing or two about avoiding a hard core hang-over or over drinking. Now when the jagerbombs come out - or the patron shots - you know some ways to try and avoid the crash.

Now on a side note: These tips can work for any night of casual drinking. I'm not one to drink to get drunk, so I'm a huge fan of food and water. I also try to space drinks out - no matter what the situation is.
