Happy Winter gals!!
Winter here in NY has been a bit more harsh this year than it has the past several years and has been a killer on my lips!
In case any of you are experiencing the same thing I have with peeling and chapping lips, here's my secret that has saved my lips and have made them soft again:

In a small pot (like a lip gloss pot with a screw cap) mix sugar and olive oil. Use this twice a week to slough off the peeling and smooth out the lips.
Then I put on Sally Hansen's Thin Lip Collagen Booster. I thought it had been discontinued but recently found it by chance in the Kmart in Astor Place. It's the best lip treatment I've ever used with Kheils running in second place (and alot less than Kheil's!). Don't let the name fool you though, it doesn't do much in the plumping area, but goes on nice and smoothly with a light natural tint and sheen.
If you are wearing lipstick, I've discovered that Avon's Beyond Color plumping lip conditioner has served as a great smoother and primer and has SPF 15 in it and since it goes on like a lipstick, you don't have to wait for it to dry.
I find that chap stick works OKAY, but not GREAT, but the Blistex Moisture and PeaceKeeper Causemetics Eco-Sensual lip balm (which is actually a chapstick) is what I was using in the beginning.
