Ladies! Add yogurt to your shopping list because it's something you should try to eat daily to gain healthy benefits.

As a woman you need to maintain yourself inside out. Eating the things that have nutritional value and also give you a boost in health. Yogurt is one of those foods that has an important role in woman's good health. It has live cultures which is good bacteria that fights bad bacteria in your digestive system which allows you to have a healthy digestion and fights off disease and gives you energy. Good bacteria prevent imbalances in the body’s yeast levels, which can prevent various types of yeast infections and other vaginal infections. Some naturalist even suggest putting organic yogurt on a tampon for bv. Yogurt also has a good source of Calcium since yogurt is made out of milk, which is a great preventative for bone density loss.

Here are some ValSecrets on ways to incorporate yogurt in your diet;
You can buy a bigger tub and keep it refrigerated. I prefer Greek yogurt which has less sugar and more protein than American made yogurts. Whatever you do, choose organic yogurts which have more health benefits. To make sure your yogurt contains active cultures, check the label. Most brands will have a graphic that says 'live and active cultures'. You can add berries, fruit, granola, flax seed oil, nuts, and wheatgerm. You can also use it as a substitute for milk in recipes too.

This is great! I just implemented much more yogurt into my diet as my calcium is low due to an illness and the fact that plain milk makes me very ill. I now drink almond or soy milk, but spent many years without any at all because I didn't know what was out there. Plain Greek yogurt is also a great substitute for sour cream. If this sounds weird, just think tzatziki sauce which is made with Greek yogurt and then it may make sense :) Thanks for sharing, you gave me a boost, I get lazy with eating my yogurt and now coming cross your post is a sign to get up and serve myself some yogurt and strawberries!
