Based on what I've been seeing at the bars and restaurants I'm so happy not to be dating. There are so many guys but it really is hard to find the good ones. Since I'm married I just people watch when I go out. My friends and I will point people out and chat about them. Lately I've been noticing that we talk about guys more than anything. Recently I saw a guy wearing gold powder on his tanned skin. I overheard him telling his friends that the powder will draw in the ladies. Now I don't know about you, but if I had a guy with hulk like muscles, covered in glitter, hit on me, I'd laugh. Maybe that's your thing but not mine. Another thing, when did guys just hump legs at bars? Seriously, all they do is run around and grind on ladies. How is that dancing? Why would any sophisticated lady want to have an immature idiot riding their leg. I just don't get it. BUT this is my age group. I'd rather met someone or talk at a restaurant but people in their twenties bar hop to find *the one* So here is my valsecret to hunting for Mr Right in a pool of Mr Wrongs:

If the place is packed and the guys are hanging at the bar, leaning against walls and dancing, than try to find the one relaxing in the corner or talking with his friends at the bar. Try to steer clear of the guy with the body glitter humping some girls leg or gyrated in the corner while watching the ladies dance in a circle. Try to avoid the guy at the bar taking tons of shots. That is just medicine for disaster and a one-night stand. Look for the guy would appears quit, because he may be more sensitive, willing to chat and be someone you can take home to mom and dad one day.

If what you are looking for is the obnoxious, loud mouthed Jersey Shore type - than disregard this, but if you are searching for Mr Right in a Pool of Mr. Wrongs - try to scope out the place before making a move. OH, and if the quite guy chokes - give him a chance. sometimes little mistakes are worth getting past. Sometimes you have to look past the little things and see the potential (which can also go for those Mr. Wrongs - maybe they are Mr. Rights deep down, but you have to be willing to get past things that some of us just cant)

The kind of guys I like to randomly meet are the ones that are at the live music events that I go to when I go out. These guys are usually artistic & love music. They are at the venue for music & socializing. It's not a meat market. That's my kind of guy. He has to love seeing live music. I don't search for him. I don't go online. It has to be organic for me. I can not be bothered with trying to hard. I am open to flirting, love, dating a lot of people or just one. I've been single for a long time because I can't put up with anything that is less than I deserve. Thank God for being over 30! I was not like this in my 20s.
