Sugar....my secret....stick to the pure stuff. Almost everyone I know use an artificial sweetener with their coffee or tea. These sweeteners are not good for you in the long run. I recommend sticking with the pure stuff and as always sticking with the serving size or using none at all. It may not taste so good at first but like everything else you'll get used to it. Why wouldn't you want you want to be the healthiest you can be? Your body is your temple you should treat it as such :)

Shhh....If you're not comfortable with the real thing you can always try Stevia which is an all natural sweetener you can find at your local health food store. You can also use honey, or agave nectar. In baking use apple sauce when the recipe calls for that 5 cups of sugar.

I agree, artificial sweeteners taste strange for a reason-because it is not good for you. Thanks for sharing your tips with us! I will stick with my pure sugar.

I refuse to buy those artificial sweeteners, it does more bad to your body that sugar. I will try Stevia instead. I love the idea of baking with apple sauce instead of sugar.
