Are you new to the city or been here awhile and wondered if anyone you went to college with lives here? Look no further than your college alumni web page which can be found as a link on their official school website. Depending on the size of the school you attended there should be a search feature to find the local chapters in your area. You will be amazed at the number of colleges and universities that meet up and participate in events like athletics watch parties to cultural and social networking events. I went to the University of Oklahoma which can rally about ten to a hundred alumni, family and fans to events around the greater New York area. We actively participate in football and basketball watch parties, casual touch football league, philharmonic in central park, NY Yankees baseball games and volunteer projects, among other things. Attended but didn't quite graduate? No worries, some times it is nice to watch games with other fans rooting for the same team. The city can be so much more fun when you have things in common. So let alumni in the city work for you. You will be surprised, it's a small world after all.
