Living with anyone takes a considerable amount of patience and compromise. Throw the opposite sex in there? It takes a saint sometimes. The first month I moved in with my boyfriend, I was weary of completely unpacking--we were great in our separate environments, but I was concerned about our differences being too much when we lived together. He's fanatically neat, I'm a little messy. I'm laid back, and he can be a micromanager. But with a little acceptance, some willingness to change, and a few fights to clear the air, we managed to make it well past that first month. It turned out to be one of the best things we could have done for our relationship.

Keep an open heart and mind, forgive the little things, and really pick and choose your battles.....and always remember why you chose to live together in the first place....love!
