Traveling to Manhattan? Then you need to get a view of it from New Jersey. Besides the traditional NYC tourist activities, you should take the ferry from WTC to Liberty Harbor, New Jersey. You can basically hop on the ferry and in 10 minutes be at Liberty State Park. The park surrounds the Statue of Liberty and offers a view of Manhattan that you can't miss. The skyline behind piers, a harbor and history, is beautiful. You can even see Manhattan from America's first train station.
The best part = it's free. All you need to do is pay of the ferry ride.

You can also get to Liberty State park by the taking the PATH from NYC to the New Port Pavonia Stop. You can then walk to the Light Rail and take it to Liberty State Park.
