There is more to Las Vegas than casinos, bars and nightlife. If you are like me and enjoy adventure and entertainment, then you will love Las Vegas. You can go hiking or biking during the day and party at night. Whenever I travel I focus on going to places that over outdoor activities, sometimes doing that I don't get to see places with a comparable nightlife. Vegas is a great destination because it offers both. MY secret to making Vegas work for the adventurous type - renting a car for a $1 a day, which many of the hotels offer. Wake up or roll out of the club and go for a hike in the morning. If you wake up early enough you could spend a night near the Grand Canyon. You can also visit nearby lakes of the Hoover Dam.
There is a lot to do. So check out Vegas if you are like me and want a balance between entertainment and adventure.
